The incumbent will support the Programme Manager and Programme Officer(s), Ecosystem based Adaptation (EbA), in tasks related to the implementation of several global-scale climate change adaptation projects. He or she will provide assistance in reviewing technical documents, communications, and donor deliverables; and in ensuring the timely coordination of activities and reports among IUCN and partner offices. In addition, the incumbent will support EMP’s engagement in partnerships on EbA, ecosystem-based disaster risk reduction (ecoDRR) and mangrove conservation, particularly through the Friends of EbA, PEDRR, UN Community of Ocean Action on Mangroves, and the Global Mangrove Alliance.
