Participants will work as part of the Nature Reserves Team to assist in the management and protection of the 19 Ulster Wildlife nature reserves across Northern Ireland. These sites cover key habitats such as lowland raised bog, sand dunes, species-rich grasslands and ancient woodland as well as containing a wide range of important and rare species. Participants will gain experience of working with a variety of tools and equipment as well as being trained in conservation management techniques.
