Azimuth Environmental Consulting is seeking a biologist at the junior/intermediate level specializing in terrestrial ecology. Applicants must have a university degree in ecology, plant/wildlife biology or related field, and a minimum 3 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will undertake field surveys including vegetation community classification, plant inventories, and wildlife surveys for breeding birds, reptiles, amphibians, bats and other mammals. Applicants must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong data management and technical writing skills using Microsoft software are a must. Experience dealing with public, regulatory agencies, contractors and clients is also an asset.
