Reporting directly to the Assistant Curator of an assigned area, and under the general supervision of the Curator. Zookeepers perform routine zookeeper duties; work under minimal supervision in a wide range of functions and will participate in training and behavioral enrichment.

This position is primarily focused on Central and South American species that include Seba Bats, small mammals, alpaca, reptile, amphibians and insects. This position will have the opportunity to cross-train in the Louisiana Swamp and Jaguar Jungle in order to provide additional coverage if needed.
