Location: Allington Lock, Maidstone Kent County Council is offering the opportunity to be part of an exciting Heritage Lottery funded partnership project. This ambitious initiative not only looks to restore, expand and link up fragmented chalk downland habitats across 10,000ha of North Kent, it also aims to reconnect the local community with this iconic landscape and you could play an important part in delivering this. We are looking for a motivated person with excellent interpersonal skills to deliver the habitat connectivity elements of the project. You will use your experience in providing habitat management advice to work with a wide variety of landowners so that the project continues taking positive steps for biodiversity in the Kent Downs.
