The project will attract attention to the conservation core areas; restoring wildlife rich ancient semi-natural habitats; conserve and increase populations of nationally/internationally rare and threatened species of flora and fauna; revive and renew historic practices such as hedge laying, woodland coppicing and extensive conservation grazing using hardy traditional breeds of livestock.
