The Stewardship Ecologist I is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operations of the volunteer stewardship, volunteer monitoring and native seed nursery operations. Responsible for the native seed program by growing/collecting native species, processing and storing seed, and the operation of the native seed nursery and greenhouse. Coordinates native seed collection, processing and dispersal to support department projects. Assists in volunteer program development, recruiting, development of training programs and materials, and mentors volunteers and support staff.    Work schedule includes evening and weekend hours.
