The role will support the land management team in the delivery of a full and varied work programme across the east region. The post holder will supervise weekly volunteer work parties to achieve conservation objectives across a diverse range of habitats, including ancient woodland, floodplain meadows, wetlands and calcareous grasslands. We are seeking to appoint a responsible and enthusiastic candidate for a job that delivers nature’s recovery through land management. With a passion for wildlife, the post holder will have a particular interest in woodlands and grasslands. Equally comfortable working individually or as part of a team, the candidate will have a diplomatic and personable approach and be capable of engaging and enthusing volunteers and members of the public.
