This appointment is a fantastic opportunity to join the South West Land Management Team for anyone with a keen interest in helping to manage the Welsh Government Woodland Estate. The role is unique, in that time will be split between delivering prescribed peat restoration works under the HLF funded Lost Peatlands project (2.5days per week on average) and working to deliver the critical programme of liability management works on legacy coal mine sites across Neath Port Talbot and parts of Rhondda Cynnon Taf. The delivery of the peatland restoration works through the project and the slips and tips liability work will form a key part of this role.
