Reporting to the Executive Director and working in close consultation with HAT Operations staff and Board of Directors, the Land Protection Coordinator’s role is to plan, organize, implement and evaluate land protection projects consistent with HAT’s vision, mission, and values.

Position Deliverables/Accountabilities:

  • Works closely with the Executive Director and other staff to implement land protection projects including meeting with landowners, working collaboratively to negotiate and draft agreements such as conservation covenants, managing projects to meet various deadlines, drafting briefing materials and correspondence, liaising with legal counsel, and collaborating with partner agencies;
