The Land Protection Strategies Director is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and implementation of a comprehensive program to protect land for nature, climate and people. They use the full range of protection tools, including gift, easement, purchase,  innovative finance, conservation brokerage and cooperative projects with federal, state, tribal and local government, conservation organizations and other partners as appropriate  As a leadership position in the Minnesota-North Dakota-South Dakota Chapter, the Land Protection Strategies Director sets and communicates vision for our land protection work, identifies and prioritizes projects that strengthen connections between our land protection and climate goals, and ensures equitable land protection outcomes.
