GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Land Trust Program Director is responsible for leading all aspects of MCHT’s Land Trust Program, being responsive to, advising, consulting with, and empowering Maine’s 80+ land trusts in order to build a stronger land trust community in Maine. This includes creating opportunities for training, knowledge-sharing, and networking, and identifying and addressing other needs. This position also oversees and helps guide MCHT advocacy and public policy initiatives. The Land Trust Program Director sits on MCHT’s leadership team which is responsible for shaping strategic direction and managing the operations of the organization.  The primary office for this role could be Topsham or Mount Desert, Maine.
