We are looking for an exceptional learning officer to inspire the next generation about nature. The role will initially be focused on the Corncrake Calling project - Enhancing Scotland's Crex Appeal which aims to save Corncrakes in Scotland through advocacy, land management and education. The incumbent will set up an education programme for primary school children in corncrake breeding areas (Argyll Islands, Outer Hebrides, Skye, Durness and Orkney) which will include children co-designing new lessons with their teachers for other children to learn about corncrakes, wildlife and the link to nature friendly farming. The constraints of Covid-19 will mean that for the foreseeable future, the education programme will need to be delivered digitally to teachers in the schools in corncrake areas.
