Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer in Animal Science to teach in Higher Education on our Animal Management and Zoology degrees (Level 4-Level 6) and the Level 3 provision at Capel Manor College, based at Enfield.

The successful candidate will have experience working with zoo species, livestock and have an excellent understanding on conducting academic research.

The ideal candidate should have an MSc in an Animal Science/Zoology degree or similar, be comfortable teaching topics on Animal Behaviour, Advanced Animal Enrichment, Zoo Species Management, Animal Husbandry/Handling, and be able to support students with dissertations and research. Having taught previously on Higher education would be desirable but is not essential.
