The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham has a great collection of parks and open spaces providing 463 hectares of publicly accessible greenspace. The borough portfolio, which consists of eight ‘District Parks’, eleven ‘Local Parks’ and nine ‘Small Open Spaces’, is valued and well used by residents and many visitors to the borough.
