The Anacostia Watershed Society seeks a Manager of Education to engage watershed communities (youth and adults) in learning about, experiencing, and restoring the Anacostia River and its watershed through environmental education programs. This full-time, exempt position will teach watershed education in area classrooms, lead field studies on the Anacostia River, conduct teacher trainings, and engage students as well as other volunteers in service projects. The Manager of Education will also inspire and provide direction and oversight to the Education Team to ensure that they are strategically and consistently working to advance the mission of the organization and the objectives of the program.
