1. Background to role

Manx Wildlife Trust (MWT) is the largest conservation charity in the Isle of Man, protecting Manx wildlife since 1973. 87% of the Isle of Man’s territory is marine, so our marine conservation work around the Manx coast and seas is hugely important. MWT’s work covers a range of marine research and activities from running Seasearch, supporting the IOM Government with the Marine Nature Reserves, to seal surveys, monitoring invasive species, recording dead mammal strandings and much more.
