Course Content

Join us for a 17-day program on the north-eastern coastal areas of South Africa and neighbouring Mozambique. The focus is on: Marine and Mangrove estuary ecology, Coral Reef and Sea Turtle ecology, Dolphin and Shark research, Modern wildlife conservation practices. An introduction to Scuba course is included.

  • Wildlife diversity and conservation in southern Africa
  • Marine biology practices on the south-eastern seaboard of Africa
  • Mangrove and estuary biology
  • Southern African coral reef ecology in the Indian ocean
  • Indo-Pacific Humpback, Spinner and Bottlenose dolphin ecology
  • Leatherback and Loggerhead turtle ecology
  • Local community fishing practices and conservation
