The UK Overseas Territories (UKOTs) host a wealth of marine biodiversity, supported by an established suite of marine protected areas (MPAs), but in the Caribbean UKOTs, marine biodiversity within MPAs is often threatened by unsustainable use and pollution, while local marine conservation managers are often under-resourced to deal with these threats.
