Farallon Institute is looking to fill a full-time position for seabird population studies and analysis of marine predator food habits (seabirds, marine mammals, predatory fishes, etc.).

Primary responsibilities:

  • Field work collecting observational data on Alcatraz Island seabird colonies

  • Lab work analyzing predator diet

  • Supervision of interns for both field and lab work

  • Data and database management

  • Statistical analysis of results

  • Report and manuscript preparation

Field work is often conducted in windy/cold conditions.
