Greater Farallones Association (GFA) is a nonprofit organization working in partnership with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to conserve the ecosystems of Greater Farallones and Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuary. This includes protecting the wildlife and habitats of one of the most diverse and bountiful marine environments in the world, located just a few miles from San Francisco. GFA is committed to providing opportunities to the next generation of marine scientists and educators from all backgrounds, and is dedicated to raising awareness and stewardship of the vital ocean resources right off the San Francisco coast.
