The Conservation Biologist I will serve as part of the Protected Resources Program to ensure the goals of the Observer Program are met through coordination with other program staff, data management and analysis, and preparation of reports. This will require a high level of organization, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make decisions quickly. This position will work in tandem with another Conservation Biologist I to supervise permanent and temporary observers (Environmental Technician I) and assist with observer coordination.  Other job duties include improving and developing sampling protocols, data analysis and quality control, field work, and program development.  The Biologist will work with different agencies and stakeholder groups to accomplish these tasks inclu
