JOB SUMMARY The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) works to safeguard the world’s seafood supply by promoting the best environmental choice, and is recognised internationally as a ground-breaking and credible solution to the serious environmental problem of overfishing. Reporting to the Japan Fisheries Manager, the Fisheries Officer is responsible for outreach to the fisheries sector (catchers, fisheries co-operative associations, government, fisheries research organisations, NGOs and companies) in Japan and, potentially, more widely in the region as resources allow.
