4ocean is on a mission to save the world’s oceans, and we are looking for a Materials Lab Technician to help us advance our cause.
About This Position We are looking for a Materials Lab Technician to be based at our fulfillment center located in Deerfield Beach, FL. Reporting to our Materials R&D Manager, you will take the lead when it comes to helping us build out our R&D lab by:
  • Performing materials sampling and testing
  • Maintaining & operating the extruder machine
  • Using recycled plastics that our crew pulled from the ocean to produce resin-based sample products and prototypes
  • Researching/sourcing vendors within the plastics recycling industry
