This unpaid, temporary internship position will focus on projects related to conservation and habitat stewardship that support the mission of Michigan Audubon. Direct experience will be gained in conducting habitat stewardship and restoration on the ground, specific to invasive plant species, leading volunteer days, and conducting biological monitoring projects at Michigan Audubon sanctuaries. Through this experience, the intern will support a statewide, nonprofit organization that focuses on conservation, education, and research, and will serve as a professional, knowledgeable, and friendly public ambassador for Michigan Audubon and its mission.
