The Department of Biology and the Program in Environmental Studies invite applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor of Biology and Environmental Studies with a focus in conservation biology, beginning in Fall 2020. This will be a joint 50/50 appointment in the Department of Biology and the Program in Environmental Studies. The candidate’s area of expertise should include field research with a vertebrate system. Applicants should have a Ph.D., and postdoctoral experience or its equivalent, as well as demonstrated commitment to excellence in both teaching and research. The successful candidate is expected to be able to teach an introductory course in environmental science, conservation biology, an upper-level elective in biology with a field-based labor
