Essential Job Functions:
1. As a forest wildlife research scientist executing NCASI’s Forestry Technical Studies
Program in the western U.S. and British Columbia, primary responsibilities include:
coordinating, executing, and reporting forest environment-related research on schedule
and within budget.
executing research that is excellent, cost-effective, scientifically credible, and marked by
a significant level of self-direction.
effectively and efficiently directing the work of support staff and/or contract staff.
presenting research findings verbally at NCASI meetings and external conferences.
preparing timely and original journal articles, technical reports, and other written
communications, meeting the highest standards of quality and scientific objecti
