We are currently recruiting for a National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Specialist. This individual will work with the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) West Coast Region (WCR) California Coastal Office (CCO) to perform NEPA review for continued implementation of restoration of coho salmon habitat on non-federal lands in the Shasta Valley. This work requires the completion of several effects evaluation and determination documents consistent with Endangered Species Act (ESA) and NEPA requirements. The documents provide comprehensive scientific evaluations of listed fish effects associated with proposed restoration activities and routine land-use activities. This work will be conducted either off-site or on-site at the NMFS office located at 1655 Heindon Road
