Description The RiverWatch Director & Stream Ecologist leads citizen science/community-based research conducted at the National Great Rivers Research and Education Center, including overseeing the RiverWatch Citizen Science program. This includes management of the citizen scientist training program, supervision of paid staff and volunteers, development of original research on stream ecology and citizen science, and dissemination of study results to both the public and scientific community. Qualifications • PhD in aquatic resources, stream ecology or other related field • Strong quantitative and data management skills • Evidence of ability to collaborate with researchers from other disciplines and agencies • Experience in small streams and watersheds, water quality standar
