As a member of a National Monitoring Field team, you will lead on the planning and delivery of the fisheries monitoring programme across Wessex. You will lead and coordinate the delivery of technical training and mentoring of staff on monitoring activities including the Officer in Charge (OIC) qualification to ensure a consistent and professional service. This role will instruct on the use of monitoring equipment and health, safety, and wellbeing (HSW) practices. You will play a prominent leadership role in the team and in promoting a positive HSW culture within the team and across National Field Monitoring.
