We are looking for a well organized and focused individual who can supervise Natural Resources technicians, assist with field office management, and coordinate field work. This position serves as a lead biologist who conducts land and wildlife management activities on the Balcones Canyonlands Preserve (BCP) and other Travis County-managed lands.

Primary duties include:

  • conducting rare species monitoring,
  • implementing nuisance species control,
  • coordinating habitat enhancement projects,
  • maintaining preserve infrastructure, and
  • reviewing issues that may negatively impact Travis County-managed lands and coordinating mitigation efforts.
