Job Purpose: Forester GIS is NRW’s bespoke database for holding and managing information to support NRW’s management of the Welsh Government’s woodland estate, supporting asset management and financial reporting as well as the planning and operational delivery of work programmes over 124,00ha of land Support Forester GIS Manager by carrying out the maintenance of ARC GIS/ Forester ensuring data integrity and system resilience Provide GIS software and hardware support to the 200 Forester GIS Users, responding to and resolving GIS faults logged through ICT service desk Support GIS manager to develop centrally run analysis and End of Year procedures for the Welsh Government Woodland Estate.
