Job Purpose: One of the key element of the Environment (Wales) Act is the Sustainable Management of Natural Resources which enables Wales’ resources to be managed in a more proactive, sustainable and joined-up way. The Biodiversity Advisor – Sustainable Management of Natural Resources (SMNR) role will be responsible for supporting the work of Natural Resources Wales in developing our approach for delivering our Biodiversity duties under Section 6 and 7 of the Environment (Wales) Act. The post will be pivotal in supporting the development of Area Statements, evidence for Public Services Boards and readiness for the second State of the Natural Resources Report.
