The Assistant, Conservation Biology (ACB) supports the Southwestern Ontario Coordinator, Conservation Biology (CB) in conservation efforts in the NCC subregion of Southwestern Ontario with a focus on the Western Lake Erie Islands, Essex Forests and Wetlands, and Port Frank Wetlands and Dunes Natural Areas.  SWO encompasses ecological districts (7E-1, 7E-2, 7E-3, 7E-5, 7E-6).  The objective of the program is the delivery of NCC’s mission of protecting biological diversity through collaborative, strategic, science-based land conservation and stewardship.
