Job description: We are looking for a candidate with a good understanding of environmental policy, and ideally the principles behind natural capital accounting or ecosystem service valuation. You will have the drive and enthusiasm to lead on initiatives such as the Nature Recovery Network and Strategy, and grasp opportunities to deliver conservation projects through new approaches such as Biodiversity Net Gain and carbon and environmental credits. You will need strong interpersonal and influencing skills to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, working closely with Local Authorities, statutory bodies and developers to embed policy and decision making that delivers nature’s recovery and action on climate change.
