The Somerset Coast to Levels is one of the UK’s most important wetland landscapes – what we call a Waterscape. WWT already plays an important role in this Waterscape, through the management of WWT Steart Marshes and the Somerset Climate Resilient Coast project (https://www.wwt.org.uk/our-work/projects/climate-resilience-in-somerset/), and together with our conservation partners we aspire to make it bigger, better and more connected for the benefit of wetland wildlife.
