The New York Natural Heritage Program seeks a Marine Zoologist to work with program partners to refine the list of marine animal species tracked in New York State’s statewide database of rare species, and identify appropriate spatial methodology for mapping occurrences of marine animals. The person filling this position will act as a liaison to agency and university faculty and staff and serve as coastal and marine project manager as needed. Project manager duties could involve overseeing contractors conducting surveys for marine animals.
