Responsibilities As a Fish Biologist, you will perform the following duties: Conduct or collaborate on research related to entanglement or ship-strike reduction measures to develop strategies to protect marine mammals. Develop conservation and recovery activities for marine mammals, including large whales, small cetaceans, and/or pinnipeds, and enhance agency programs to reduce the threat of entanglements or vessel collisions with whales. Coordinate conservation efforts among science centers, regional offices, and Headquarters offices to ensure science activities related to marine mammal science support management objectives.
