We are excited to be able to offer two new Lead Officer roles. One based in the Woods and Heaths team, and the other in the Broads South team. The roles afford the opportunity to be able to use your skills for the conservation of natural habitats. The Lead Officer posts will be involved in management of some of the region’s most important wildlife sites, and develop valuable skills in maintenance, restoration and protection of our nature reserves. Most of our woodland nature reserves are ancient woodland, and include some of the best examples of bluebell woods in the county. The other sites within the area include important heath and mire, and are home to key species such as great crested newt, nightjar, woodlark, keeled skimmer dragonfly, and marsh gentian. Most are designated SSS
