General Summary

This position implements U.S. North Pacific and Arctic Ocean campaigns and represents Oceana in media, coalition, and campaign efforts in the Alaska region. The North Pacific Campaign Manager and Marine Scientist provides scientific support for campaign advocacy and professionally represents Oceana in decision-making forums. This position works closely with the Pacific Campaign Director and Senior Scientist and Oceana’s U.S. Pacific Team to develop and achieve campaign goals. Organizing activities include public education; coalition building; and media and educational efforts to build alliances with government officials, other conservation organizations, fishermen, individuals, and community organizations to
