Purpose To deliver a program of works in order to improve the River Esk and other water bodies in the catchment to ‘High’ chemical and ecological status specifically for the benefit of salmonids and freshwater pearl mussels. Main Duties and Responsibilities 1. Work with the River Esk programme manager on a suite of projects including capital grants and land manager advice related to improving the freshwater environment. 2. Deliver a practical work plan by negotiating with land managers, setting up agreements, and arranging necessary permissions and consents. 3.
