Are you a keen conservationist with a passion to connect communities to the natural world? To help deliver the Better Habitats and the Saving Sherwood’s Special Species projects, you will need to build strong links with local communities and to develop a robust and active volunteer ‘Friends Group’ who can help landowners to protect and care for a range of wildlife-rich sites in Sherwood, now and in the future. You will have a degree or equivalent experience in an environment related subject and experience of working with volunteers and community groups in an outdoor ‘practical’ setting . Miner2Major is a five-year (2019-2023) Landscape Partnership scheme, supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund; it is a people-focussed programme that will take action to reconnect
