Responsible for writing Fisheries and Aquaculture assessments using the Seafood Watch assessment criteria by: Setting the direction for sustainable seafood recommendations in the OWS program. This includes leading the Science team to produce annual priorities for OWS assessments, sending priorities to the Seafood Watch team, and making suggestions to improve and strengthen credibility with current recommendations; Compiling, synthesizing and critically analyzing scientific information (including peer-reviewed journal articles, government studies, industry reports and other reviews of sustainability) on various fisheries and aquaculture practices; Engaging with marine scientists, aquaculture experts, other NGO’s working within the Monterey Bay Aquarium assessment model, members of indu
