Description ROLE OVERVIEW Reporting to the Research Manager of the Ocean Wise Marine Mammal Conservation Research Program – Ocean Pollution, the post-doctoral fellow will work on contaminant data collected as part of the PollutionTracker program to evaluate killer whale habitat quality. Working closely with the Ocean Pollution Research Manager, the post-doctoral fellow will perform quality assurance/quality control of organic contaminant data and use geographical information system (GIS) to generate contaminant contour maps. The post-doctoral fellow will be expected to publish results in peer-reviewed scientific literature, attend scientific meetings and participate in the communication of results to the general public.
