Description ROLE OVERVIEW The Sales Manager plays a critical role in bringing in visitors to the Vancouver Aquarium. Reporting to the VP of Engagement, this position serves as the ambassador, evangelist, and primary contact for the tourism market segment (DMO’s, hotel partners, group leaders, tour operators, concierges, online affiliates, and travel portals) and is responsible for growing FIT and group booking revenue. This position is also responsible for identifying and developing marketing alliances/partnerships with the goal of increasing gate attendance. In support of these goals, the Sales Manager participates in developing and executing marketing and sales plans. They also coach, mentor and manage the booking team to ensure optimum efficiency and that customer service targets
