The incumbent provides resource management expertise, with emphasis on fish and wildlife biological and habitat requirements, practices, and principles, for the review, development, implementation and monitoring of Ontario's forest management guides. The position will lead the review, revision, and development of assigned forest management guides and associated support programs as well as participating in the development of other guides/support programs lead by other technical staff. The position is part of a multi-disciplinary section that provides leadership, coordination, development, transfer and expert advice on forest management legislation, policies, programs, standards, guides and issues.
