Incumbent will be responsible for the operation of a waterfowl hunting check station at one of the Stormwater Treatment Areas (STA) in South Florida for the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). Specific duties include opening the STA, checking in permitted hunters, conducting a lottery for unpermitted hunters, correctly identifying and recording species harvested, reporting hunting pressure and harvest results via the internet, and representing the agency in a professional manner while providing service to the public. There are up to five positions to be filled with this announcement, with one-two employees for each check station.
