ORCA are now recruiting for 2 confident, enthusiastic and customer-service driven Wildlife Officers, with experience of lone working in remote locations, to join our at-sea team for the summer season in 2019, working and living on board the DFDS KING Seaways vessel, sailing from North Shields (Newcastle, UK) to Ijmuiden (The Netherlands). The main responsibilities are running the on-board 'ORCA Wildlife Lounge', delivering daily presentations and children’s activities, deck watching with passengers, collecting scientific data on wildlife sighted and inspiring and educating all passengers on board about North Sea wildlife.  The Wildlife Officers will also manage volunteer Wildlife Officer Placements, who are on board for 4-weeks at a time.
