A postgraduate internship project is available at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Office of Water in Washington, DC. The internship will be served with the Office of Wetlands, Oceans, and Watersheds (OWOW). The Ocean and Coastal Management Branch in OWOW is the focal point at EPA for leading programs to prevent and mitigate ocean and coastal acidification, regulate pollution from all vessels in freshwater and marine waters, protect coral reefs and their habitats, prevent land-based sources of marine litter from entering waterways, meet the goal of “no net loss” of coastal wetlands, and help coastal communities adapt to a changing climate.
