In partnership with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, we are seeking in intern who will develop outreach materials such as social media posts, press releases, story maps, and field notes, update existing outreach materials and manuals, and participate in virtual and/or in-person outreach events. The Intern will also conduct field surveys in various coastal and upland locations on Long Island and New York City for federally listed species including piping plover, roseate tern, red know, seabeach amaranth, and the at-risk salt marsh sparrow.
